COMMON ISSUES
Are you directed to app.singpass.gov.sg when tapping on the QR code during login?
This may be due to a delay in retrieving the required configuration file (Apple-App-Site-Association or AASA) by iOS. This file is necessary for QR code tapping (Universal Links) to function properly.
Here are some workarounds that have proven effective for other users experiencing the same issue:
- Try again later. Most users report that iOS successfully retrieves the necessary configuration after some time.
- Restart your phone once (or twice) and wait a few minutes for iOS to initialize the Universal Links for the Singpass app (as well as other affected apps).
- Uninstall the Singpass app from your device, then download it again from the official App Store.
